This was the highlight of our 5 day stay in Shipshewana. We took the 4 star tour which began in Shipshewana, taking us through the city and going to a dairy farm about 20 minutes later. Brandon was our guide and he was fabulous and only 16 years old. The farm we went to belonged to his uncle. He explained... More

We did the 'country tour' for $20pp plus tip. Kind of high-priced, but our driver, Joe. was Amish. very friendly, and has lived in the area all his life. They also offer a 'downtown tour' for 15 minutes for $10pp plus tip. This tour is run by Blue Gate restaurant, not to be confused with Buggy LINE, downtown, offering $4... More

Do not get Buggy Lane Tours mixed up with Buggy Line Tours. I think Buggy Line Tours seems to have the better tours from what I am reading after the fact. We paid for a 15 minute ride, which was a complete waste of time. The route was the same route we had walked and driven as it just sticks... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our Five Star Tour. The staff was extremely friendly and they were people we would love to be friends with. We traveled by Amish buggy with a sweet Amish man who shared some of his life with us. At the farm we fed horses and calves, played with kittens, got a tour of the barn, watched the... More

we paid for the ride at a store named hosteler.the lady assured us it would be a traditional amish style buggy. Well when our buggy arrives the store was closed so couldnt get our money back. It was a carriage and the driver was not amish like all the other ones we saw going around town. Nice guy but a... More

My daughters loved it. The gentleman driving the buggy was Amish and very knowledgeable about the area and the history of the area. Definitely worth the time and money.

We took the longer tour and had an absolutely wonderful time listening to our guide describe the history of the area. A definite must do when visiting.

We booked this tour from the advice of trip advisor on line. The previous reviews are "right on" with the descriptions. We met Kenny and were introduced to "Bob" our horse. Kenny's personality is amazing in his ability to make you feel like an old friend. He told us a lot of history of the Amish community and history. The... More

We had a large group of family go on a tour with John (and Bob the horse). We chose the longer ride out to the dairy farm, where John told us all about farming and the dairy operation. On the in-town part of the tour, he explained a bit of the history of the town. At the farm, we got... More

Kenny is truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. Went out to his dairy farm, met his son who runs the farm, and had a blast. Cant wait to go back.
