I recently took my children to Hardy Lake for a 3 night camping trip. We had reservations for Saturday through Tuesday. We had never been to Hardy Lake before and my first impression was that it was a great little campground and lake. We camped...More

We are sorry that you did not have a pleasant stay at Hardy Lake. Our goal is for everyone to enjoy their visit. We realize the primitive, $12 per night, campground where you were staying can be a little cramped, especially near a holiday or...More

Another great Indiana State Park in southern Indiana, just east of Scottsburg. This may be the newest one at three years old. The DNR is still making improvements and updating services but the lake is the big attraction. We camped in a pop-up and there...More

Hardy Lake provides a GREAT stop for camping and fishing. The DNR keeps the camp grounds in great clean shape. The campsites, especially the ones with electric have more room in each site than most we have stayed out. And as far as fishing, it...More

Great park that’s minutes from town. There’s lots of trails to walk and hike, a beach area, nice campground, and lots of boating activity. Always a fun time.

My family and I used to go here and camp, boat, and hike all the time. It's a very family friendly park, with a park area, and plenty of wash houses and restrooms nearby. The lake is always gorgeous. I highly recommend visiting!
