Since we were in town, we felt we should visit the museum to see what the town was all about. The museum shows the history of Christmas in the area and how the town got its name and its history. The curator at the museum was very informative and fun to talk to about the area. Even my kids found... More

For the Christmas lover this is a must see! The post office, where you can right a letter to Santa, the church, and the museum are all very well done. You do not need to plan an entire day but definitely give yourself between an hour or two. I went around Christmas but it is open year round and very... More

On the grounds of the museum is the Santa Claus Post office where kids can write a letter to Santa, a church built in the 1880's, a stone statue of Santa, and a gift shop/museum. Inside the gift shop/museum are letters to Santa written by children, dating back to the 1930's. If you take time to read them, you'll find... More

It has some cool stuff but it was kinda small. Parking lot is also small. The statute of Santa is cool. Not much more to say.

Very interesting and good museum. Very nostalgic for those who want to relive childhood memories. Original Santa Claus post office is here and good activity for everyone. The Santa Statue is great!

Very neat little museum next to the Santa statue - free admission but a donation is appreciated. Neat Santa exhibits and little gift shop - definitely a nice stop :)

Holiday world used to be called Santa land, but the name was changed back in the 80s I think. Now this museum holds souvenirs formerly sold by the park. If they sold those souvenirs again I would be happy to spend plenty of money :) My favourite part of the museum was the display of letters to Santa. If you... More

This includes 3 buildings: a church from 1880, an original post office from 1800's and a green building that houses the 3 room museum. At the post office children can write letters to Santa throughout the year and these will be answered. It is set up with rows of old school desks and paper and pencils waiting for children The... They have a good selection of old toys and memorabilia. This is as much fun for the adults as the children.
