Interesting old micro-town in Istria. They claim to be the smallest town in the world, and seems to be true. Medieval fencing walls, a church with tower, old stones paved roads (just maybe 100 meters...), some bed and breakfast, one good restaurant, some shops that...More

The day was cloudy with very big possibility of rain. The gravel road to Hum is narrow , but when you arrive to Hum, you understand that it is partly hidden gem of Istria. It is medieval city with the most beautiful souvenir shops and...More

Getting to Hum requires secondary and sometimes gravel roads, but it's worth it. Less adventurous travelers skip it, and you can walk the town in a half hour. We arrived and entered through the main tunnel hearing beautiful guitar music being played in a small...More

We arrived late in the day after a drive on the smaller road that seemed to follow the toll Hwy for ever. It was curvy, tight and interesting landscape. Glad we didn't come across too many cars. Almost no one in the town left us...More

Very cute historic little town worthy of a short visit although you will have to pay 10kn to enter. Nice restaurant and few shops selling usual olive oil and preserves etc.

Hum is a delightful place, a little off the beaten track but easily accessible down a quiet lane. A great place for an afternoon visit or over lunch time as the only restaurant serves local food and drink.

Charming little town (the smallest in the world), lovely walk around town with a few shops and a nice restaurant just outside of town, shame about the high price of parking.

Really tiny and a guy sitting on a bench with his guitar playing some (unknown to me) tune made this place feel very special. There weren't many tourists on a Saturday, which was a big plus. Parking available for HRK 10.

As expected the smallest town in the world is quite small and, as such, leaves perhaps a little to be desired? However, it's location offers stunning views over the valley below, as well as breathtaking architecture and quaint buildings. Perfect for photographers and those that...More

Small is beautiful. This saying sums up Hum perfectly. It sits on a hillside in beautiful unspoilt countryside with birds singing and wild flowers everywhere. It is said to be the smallest town in the world and is well worth a visit
