Excellent venue for a play.

Last year at Christmas, we got tickets for our family to see Mary Poppins and it was a delight! So this year we spent almost $450 for our family of nine including three children to have the threshers dinner and see "A Christmas Story". Hardly anyone was at dinner before the play which we found odd. The restaurant barn seemed... More

The setting in intimate. Everyone is close to the stage. We sat in front and it was perfect, although I'd love to sit up top next time. We saw A Christmas Story: The Musical. The actors were very impressive. My 12 year old thought it was great. I have seen the movie 100 times and thought the musical was wonderful.... More

Our first experience here was very good. We have been back three times and each play has been a wonderful experience. The theater is not big BUT very comfortable not crowded and the sound is travels very well. We have sat in the front and back either area will be good. Each play has been performed with depth, emotion, humor... More

We saved money by getting a combination ticket for the Thresher Dinner and the show at The Round Barn Theater. I appreciated that I didn't have to move the car after dinner when we had already driven a long way. Rest rooms were clean. There were even bowls of potpourri on the sink. One guy said "Hey, they put snacks... More

Visited the Theatre as part of my children's school (Indiana Connections Academy) and greatly enjoyed the show. The cast performed an abbreviated version of "A Christmas Story" musical for our students. The cast did a great job, especially the young members. Their blocking and vocals was polished. And even when there were technical difficulties no one batted an eye. All-in-all,... More

We viewed "The Miracle Worker" and were very favorably impressed by the quality of the production. The sound system is excellent, so all dialogue was clear. The actors were good and believable in their respective roles. The atmosphere is casual and the interior of the barn is fascinating itself. Make sure you get seated before the curtain goes up to... We enjoyed the Miracle worker as well as the barn itself. Sound system and lighting were great. Looked like any seat would be good. The attached gift shoppe is definitely geared to tourists!

Our group went to play the Miracle Worker and to the Thasher dinner. Great experience... We had a family style meal under the beautiful dining room with exposed beams of wood and large windows. Food was amazing . Outside they sold fresh bake goods, fudge and cheese.

We saw Fiddler on the Roof here and it was an excellent performance. Star was extremely good, as well as the rest of the cast. Seats became a little uncomfortable, and it was close quarters.

As part of our immersion in local communities, our RV group opted for dinner-theatre at the Round Barn Theatre on 10/12/16. The production was dated, but the singing was quite good. The first act moved ever so slowly, but the second act picked up considerably. Excellent performances by the young man from Northwestern who played Ezra, and Hillary. Hillary -... More
