One of the best tourist attractions in Lankaran, this unique Museum located in the house of legendary warrior Aslanov captures the essence of the history of this part of Azerbaijan. One of the ladies at the Museum took me around and narrated the rich heritage, culture, life and times of Hazi Aslanov. I was just allowed inside without charging any admission ticket.

Courageous commander

Hazi Aslanov, a prominent military commander and a skillful tanker, is a native of Lankaran and the only Azerbaijani that has been nominated two times for the Hero of the Soviet Union.
