a trail like most others

We used to live near this trail and walk it about once per month. It is a good place to take dogs for a walk.

Very nicely done an old railway that they have paved and spruced up. Great for walking running or riding a bike. Good work Muncie!!

Such a very calming experience! The music is so enjoyable. You run into so many people who are friendly and also people that you knew a long time ago.

Today, we rode the Gaston to Losantville portion round trip. Gaston to Muncie had numerous places where the trail intersected very busy streets requiring us to dismount and walk to avoid the traffic. Muncie to Losantville was more conducive to continuous biking. There are restrooms along the trail. Most are port-o-potty. Only Muncie has flush toilets. Muncie has a deal.... More

I love riding my bike in this trail, it beats riding on the roads! Its a bit bumpy in certain parts of the trail but overall, it's pretty smooth. You have to cross quite a bit of intersections that don't have pedestrian crosswalks...cross at your own risk. Cars can be kind at times. I've been told the trail is about... More

I think they have the longest bike path I have ever seen in the middle of the country. They have made a path out of the old railroad tracks with rest stops and information post.

Riding or walking on the Greenway feels very safe and relaxing either alone or with friends or family. The Trail is well maintained and has a real neat oasis type ice cream shop that's fun to visit on a warm day.

Turning former railroads into bike and walking paths is a great idea. Cardinal Greenway is wide, smooth and well-maintained for over 50 miles, stretching north and south out of Muncie. We have biked many sections of it over the years and it's one of our favorite family activities.

A very nice paved trail open for walking or biking. Uninterrupted walking or biking. Must drive and park at a starting location and walk back to starting location.

Be careful when they are mowing trail and horse trails. The operator does not always know anyone is around and the mower could throw rocks or pieces of limbs your way. Mowing horse trail today and no idea anyone was around.
