We stayed at Wyndham Vacation Resorts Seven Mile Beach, as such checked the beach, nothing further. Pretty average place, certainly nothing special!

Seven Mile beach is close to Hobart Airport. Its almost rural and has a pristine beach, fresh air and is a quiet get-a-way. Its an easy trip into Hobart or to Sorell and Port Arthur Historic Site. Warmer weather would have been nice, but you...More

Want to have a beautiful beach to yourself? 7MB in winter is delightful, at sunrise or sunset....and of course in the mid-day sun. Walk as far as you like!

It was lovely scenery and lovely for a walk but too cold for much else. Luckily we could duck back across the road to our room for a quiet red and to warm up.

Taxi is going to be the only way. it is very near the airport The planes actually will fly over the beach either landing or taking off, depending on wind direction.

did you make it to this beach... sorry I only just saw your question today. Perfect swimming beach, but nowhere to wash up after. You would need to go to Clifton beach for that!
