A long clean beach with large dunes separating it from the small town which has a decent sized shop. Walk south around the shoreline of Single Hill on a well made path to Lauderdale Beach. Or walk north along 7 miles of remote beach to the end of the sand dunes. Also accessible by the regular MTT bus service.

Great for walking, running, cycling or beaching. Lovely soft sand, many places to park and walk, great views of the coastline and surrounding hills, islands.

A lovely clean beach stretching for, well miles! Very quiet when we were there and only a few steps from the 7 mile beach caravan park

The beach is fantastic to walk along, the scenery is breathtaking and if you love shells you'll find millions in all shapes, sizes and colours.

Walked along the beach and saw about 15 people. Very peaceful. Not a big local/tourist location. Water temperature seemed reasonable, it didn't actually get in.

After 6pm this beach becomes dog friendly and becomes filled with locals (and us, for a night) playing with their pups! The beach itself is stunning, with some of the most amazing shells I've ever seen. Parking was really easy, and the beach was so nice that we left, got pizza, and returned to spend even longer their eating and... More

We live 5 mins from this beach and it is simply stunning! Great for kids, couples, dog walking or even launching a boat... it is NOT a surf beach...

enjoy a stroll along the beach and around the point, very clear water, clean and free from rocks and pesky seaweed, close to camping grounds.
