On 30 September 2016 we booked a wake at THE ROSE INN Kennington . The food was first class and the the restaurant ideal for such an occasion. Our thanks go Dave and Sarah for looking after us so well and to Helen for her friendly and efficient service behind the bar.
I can recommend anyone who needs to hold a function such as this to go to THE ROSE where you will receive sympathetic and great service

I gave the pub a second chance after the facelift and upgrade of parking and entrance. The roast was simply super all our guests enjoyed their meals. So pleased we will call in again good atmosphere too

Me, my other half, his mother and our 11mo daughter visited for a Sunday roast and were not disappointed 😁. Very nice food, fair prices and extremely friendly. We felt very welcome which is rare in a pub with a baby! Will be going again!!

I'm a regular visitor, living 10 minutes walk away. The best pub the Kennington side of Ashford. The pub had a major refurbishment in October 2014. Serves Whitstable Bay and Masterbrew on draught.

Was an average evening out. Pleasant enough atmosphere and average ale prices. Not much of a guest selection though

Only real pub in the area, really. Always good for a quick drink on the way home but definitely not the cheapest of places. Very much a local's pub where the locals do not mix, but the owner more than makes us for it. If you're in the area, drop by. If you fancy a pint and some food to go with it, I would recommend the Conningbrook Hotel along Canterbury Road.
