Today, Indiana Beach is home to six roller coasters. Of them, three are wooden roller coasters, including the world-famous Cornball Express, voted the #1 Wooden Coaster in the world by Theme Park Critic in 2002! In addition, Indiana Beach is home to Indiana's 1st custom steel coaster, Steel Hawg. Through all its new attractions, new slogans, and new guests, Indiana Beach never forgot its place as a classic facility filled with classic attractions. Whether it’s getting’ their fannies riding on a coaster, relaxing in the summer sun, or dancing & dining with family & friends, generations have enjoyed all that Indiana Beach has to offer including 0ver 100 accommodations. With plans for tomorrow blossoming every day, exciting changes every season, and a continued commitment to quality, there are no limits in sight for Indiana Beach’s future. From a cornfield that a horse and cart turned into a beach swimming area to the largest amusement & vacation playground in the state of Indiana, from its humble beginnings as Ideal Beach to its undying popularity in the hearts of guests of all ages and generations, Indiana Beach has come to represent that there truly is “more than corn in Indiana...”

After reading other reviews and visiting a few years ago I was really discouraged but I was so pleasantly surprised by the major upgrades. The park looked wonderful and we all had such a great time. Almost all the rides were operational minus 1 but this didn't stop us from having a blast!! I would definitely go back again in... More

I've been going to Indiana Beach all my life, every year. I've seen so many changes throughout the years and there's never any that are so negative I wouldn't go back. My biggest complaint is how often various rides are down. It seems every time I've went at least one of the rides someone in my family was looking forward... More

We visited July 26, 2016. We were disappointed by the high number of attractions that were closed the day we visited. The following attractions were all closed: -Hoosier Hurricane -Cornball Express -Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain -Rocky's Rapids -Big Flush -Two of the five large water slides As you can see, that's three roller coasters, the log flume ride, and... We have been going to Indiana Beach for many years. APEX has purchased the property and has been working very hard on improvements. There are many people who expect everything to be fixed in one season and have given the resort bad ratings. If you are expecting a Disney-like experience, you will be disappointed. This is a very old park... More

most employees were friendly and helpful. Stayed at the closest hotel possible that was really nice so when the younger one was pooped out the older kids could still go out so this way no one missed out. it was worth the money to stay close. The room was not great but it was close, clean, quiet, and slept 6... More

This is the APEX Group's first summer owning Indiana Beach and the improvements are remarkable! We just returned from a week-long trip to Indiana Beach Amusement Resort and it's better than it ever was! When we arrived, we noticed right away that security is greatly improved and all of the outdated cottages have been demolished and there's now ample parking.... More

Ok, maybe 4 stars is too generous, but I'd say it's a solid 3.5. If you're a first time visitor to IB, you will most likely be disappointed. If you're a longtime visitor like myself, you will be impressed with how much better it has gotten! We had almost given up on IB. We skipped it the past 2 or... More

I went here as a kid and brought my boys yesterday. We planned to do both the water park and amusement park, but a storm rolled in. I understand they can't control the weather, but should control the crowds with announcements like what rides are still open and ETA for the rides to reopen. The day cleared up and we... More

Lots of pluses this year with Apex taking over...overall the staff is more friendly and helpful...all the rides were working when we went (June 29-July 2)...there was a couple of times where Lost Coaster was down, but was back up with a few hours. Overall ride situation--wonderful. Park looked very clean--lot of things newly painted and new signs which gave... More
