Spent the day hiking and walking through Pioneer Village. Fascinating working mill and gorgeous hiking trails. Rugged trails have hills and stairs and some small trail rocks to walk over. Nothing extreme. If you take your time, you'll have no problems. Trails are well maintained and there was always a restroom and water fountain nearby. We will go back frequently.

A very nice place to get away from the city life. We stayed at the inn and walked the trails over a 3 day period. The trails are nice and we saw people with kayaks in the lake. We were able to go near the Donaldson Cave which was neat.

Have loved Spring Mill due to the unique combination of caves and the village. Some of the stairs and rails appear to be on their last legs and near rotted out...hope they fix soon. Camped in the primitive grounds for the first time ever and got little sleep due to yappping dogs all night long. People should be considerate. There... More

Our first visit in 15 years. This park is a unique and beautiful place. We enjoyed the Virgil I. Grissom Museum and the Pioneer Village. The park should please nature lovers and, history buffs alike. Make sure to check park schedules before your trip because not all park facilities are available year round.

We live about 2 hours from here but try to make it several times throughout the year... We love the trails, the spread out layout so it's not too crowded... And of course the village that takes you back in time. If you're a lover of history, hiking and fun this park is a must see!

Awesome state park. Good campground, plenty of places for kids to play, top notch hiking trails, and the pioneer village is a MUST!

This park has so much to offer. The hiking trails are great and easy enough for most people. They have a calendar of events that has all kinds of interesting things to do for every age group.

I live 5 miles away & go here almost daily for a hike. Spring Mill is a precious treasure! Anybody who can't find something here to enjoy just needs to move on to the big city. If you're all about shopping you won't find that much. But if you love American history, woodsy hiking with huge trees, picnicking, camping, fishing... More
