Our daughter recommended a canoe & kayak float on the Blue River. We've floated many a river and was impressed by the workforce employed at Cave Country Canoes from beginning to end. Larry our driver was the highlight.
Instead of harping at the grandkids to turn off the electronics, we showed them! Yes these two 66yrs olds were plenty tired (as were the kids) the 2hr trip they had said it would be to do 7mi was actually 4 1/2hrs, however it was...More

I am so glad you had a wonderful time. On the time it takes for the 7 mile trip varies during the year. In the spring when the water is high it takes 2 hours, this time of year it takes the 4 hours when...More

So glad you had a very enjoyable day. Thanks for the 5 star review. Look forward to seeing you group again.
We did a half day trip. It was a little pricey compared to other canoe places in Indiana. Scenery was pretty. Water wasn't clear. Gift shop and bathroom was nice. The bus leaves at certain times so try to plan according.

Escape from it all and spend an afternoon canoeing down Blue River. Reasonable priced rentals for 7- or 14-mile trips. Complimentary put-in service even if you bring your own canoe. Fun for the entire family. Go after a nice rainfall for the best rapids.

Thanks for coming to canoe with us. It is always nice trip down after a rain. We do haul your own crafts, for a small fee. Look forward to your return visit.
This was fun for a one time thing I guess. We expected a little more on the side of customer service I guess. They just kind of said get you paddles and oars, they had us pick life jackets, then we were just kind of...More
I’ve kayaked a few different rivers. This is one that I will definitely come back to. I had made reservations the week before for kayaks. The workers helped us with equipment lifejackets and paddles. We did the 7 mile trip. Bus dropped us off at...More
This was our first trip down the Blue River, we were amazed at how still it is, and how much paddling we actually had to do! We saw a lot of fish, a few turtles and enjoyed tine interesting "cracks" in the rock at the...More
