If you have been to a decent zoo, this will pale in comparison. The photos don't make it looked as jam packed as it really is. There are too many little, unimpressive enclosures jammed in, & none of them impress.

Not my idea of a zoo, but climbing to the top of the lookout tower for a wonderful view of Lake Michigan made the $7 parking fee and $26 zoo entrance fee worth it for me. The enclosures were so incredibly small for these animals.

Nice Small zoo very close to Lake Michigan. Very kid friendly! The bird house is a must. Very clean and very reasonable price $7 for adults. Animals and their habitats looked very well kept

Yes, it's small but we love it 1 to 2 hours then hit the beach, water zone or playground. Make sure you climb the tower to see a great view.

This is a small zoo that has had some renovations. It's kid friendly. Lots of exhibits and the parakeets were a highlight. There is an enclosure with several different colors of parakeets that you can walk through. For a dollar you can buy a birdseed stick and the birds will actually land on your hand and eat the seed. The... More

Since it was cold outside, we were the first visitors of the day at 2pm! Nice small sized zoo. Nice variety of animals. It was rather sad to see some larger animals there in enclosures, such as the tiger. Tiger looked quite depressed; he did not have much room there to roam around. Wish they could transport some of the... More

This is a great little zoo that puts its animals first. Doing a lot of rescue workers taking in misplaced exotic pets and nonreleaseable wildlife. Wonderful staff that takes the time to educate and talk to the guest with the hopes of getting others involved with conservation. It's not a Brookfield or big zoo but it's better because its a... I'll start by saying that this is a small zoo but with that being said, I was impressed with the amount of animals they have and with the quality of their enclosures. You can see that they have been making improvements throughout the years and are continuing to upgrade the animal exhibits. I think most of animals and for sure... More
