This place has everything for every age. Old time candy that us middle aged people remember from our childhood. Tons of gummies for the kids, and even though they aren't my thing, I hear they are very good. They have gift baskets and lots of sugar free candy which is nice if like us, you have a diabetic in the... More

Wide variety of on-site made chocolates, gummies, and lots of other candies as well! They have a giant chocolate fountain in the store and you can even take a factory tour! Low prices, u can get a sample of an item before u buy it too! Kids live stopping here on our long road trips! A new family tradition!

I make the trip to Albanese at least once a month to pick up our favorite candies (fruit slices) and mixed nuts. Also, Albanese always throws in a sample bag of Swedish fish, or some other little treat. They carry the candies that we remember from childhood, such as wax lips and buttons on paper. My grandchildren love making the... More

The candy here is delicious but I can't understand the attraction of the shop. They have a small branch shop in Merrillville with the same candy but no crowds. The main location is large and colorful but really, the appeal escapes me. The candy isn't cheap but the price is not too bad. If you like candy, I would recommend... More

Not much to see on the tour, just looking through some windows at huge bags of sugar being poured into cookers. But all of the candies for sale are fresh and have a much better flavor/taste than you can get in retail stores. A lot of candies from way back from our parents and grandparents days as kids! That makes... More

This is a great place to get just about any type of candy you want--packaged candies you may not have seen for years, as well as items you can only get here. I enjoy coming here, but don't expect it to be relaxing. Trying to get some assistance for weighed items is a fight. I wish they were more organized... More

Remember your favorite childhood candy? The one you can't find anymore? It's here!!! Along with the most delectable chocolate and Gummi Bears...all made fresh right on the premises. They also carry sugar free chocolates and gummies that taste as scrumptious as their sugar rich cousins. During the Christmas holidays, they turn the entire place into a Christmas wonderland. Well worth... More

Amazing stuff here! Every single thing you've ever imagined dipped in chocolate, they have it dipped in chocolate! Including gummy bears! The best gummy bears ever! Gummy butterflies, gummy flowers, gummy worms, gummy bears, gummy everything! Plus a chocolate waterfall, and all kinds of amazing old school candies. This place is amazing. Amazing!

Albanese carries a wide variety of candy including some of the old-school candy. You can also see how the candy is made while shopping. They have great hours M-Sun.

Even though they are more famous for gummy items chocolate was on my mind. This wonderful place is so fun for all ages. With a self tour and items hard to find. This place hit all the marks. They have suger free, chocolate covered everything, old fashioned candies, all flavored jelly beans, and gummies as far as the eye can... More
