The trails and scenery are everything you have heard. Breathtaking in every way and great fun to do. The campground is like an "add on" to the experience. The bathrooms were funky at best and my family went 3 days rather than showering in the...More

We have lived in Indiana and just got around to visiting Turkey Run....I can't believe what we've been missing! We went early to avoid crowds, which was good because it was very crowded later. We spent our time on trails 4, 8 and a bit...More

The hiking does not disappoint. It's for all ability levels. The views are breathtaking. We go every year. I have been going for 40 years and have been taking my kids their whole lives. Truly one of Indiana's most beautiful state parks. I will take...More

In past, I have hiked the beautiful trails and visited the inn and stayed at the campground. Today, we just spent the afternoon in the pool, which was nice and clean and very cool.

The family just camped there for 5 days and it was awful. The campground is NOT connected to the park so you have to drive back and forth. The only thing the campground has is a tiny camp store with odd hours. Every time we...More

This place bustles with greenery. We went there in last week of May. It is 1 hour drive from Purdue University, IN. We went only for a day. Take your lunch along and have your meal with lush green trees all around. There is an...More

Coming from the East Coast I was not expecting a park in Indiana to look like this! It's gorgeous and there is something for everyone. You can go for a stroll, or a walk, or a hike, or a climb. You can soak your feet,...More

Underrated and I love it. This park makes you feel like you're in another state. The trails are diverse and there is plenty to experience. Trail 3 is my favorite.

Absolutely gorgeous hiking. Very rugged even for seasoned hikers. Best hiking in indiana so far. Wear waterproof boots and go early before the trails get busy.

Is there a waterfall here? I'm kind of on a quest this summer to visit all the waterfalls in Indiana. Thanks!

First, let me say I could enjoy fishing in a storm drain. Having said that, I have not had a lot of luck at catching anything, but I never let that stop me.

I am wondering how challenging the trails dubbed "rugged" really are. Are they rugged like the bluff trails in Devil's Lake SP in WI, or are they rugged like the river edge trails in Matthiessen SP in IL? I ask because I am going to be visiting the park with my wife and dog, the latter of whom I had to keep a very close eye on along ascent trails at Devil's Lake SP. Thanks in advance.

There were many people with digs on the trails. There are a couple trails with ladders you may not want to do with a dog. If it has recently rained the trails will be through the creek bed and will be muddy, wet, and... More
