We visited for the first time with our 3 kids. We all had a great time. The cave paths are well laid out and it is an easy tour. The kids did the gem mining and they enjoyed that as well. It is a little pricey for a family if you pay full price. There are many printable coupons available... More

We took our three grandchildren (ages 9,7,4) Friday afternoon to see the cave. We took the Crystal Palace tour but afterwards our granddaughter wanted to do the Dripstone tour but we did not have time. We will go back. Our guide was Bill from Montana and he offered a lot of information and kept the children engaged. He answered their... More

We had been to another cave tour earlier in the day and wanted to do one more while in the area. This one was fantastic! We took both tours offered as a combo. The cave is so much larger than expected and had so many features to see. There were a massive amount of soda straws, flow stone, columns and... More

Thanks for the excellent review. We have a very beautifully decorated cave, with all the formation. When you see both side it gives you a chance to see the different features of the cave. Marcus is one of our newest guides and everyone is enjoying his tours. Look forward to seeing you again when you are in the area. More

My 10-year-old and I spent the day at Marengo Cave. We had a really good time. Our tour guide, "Hawk", really knew her stuff. We took both tours - lots of walking! Each was unique and had different features to look at. I saw lots of families with very young children and I don't think I would recommend that. Most... More

25 miles off I64 and well worth the drive! I was concerned that there were no advanced reservations, but we only waited 20 minutes for our first tour and about the same for the second. My 7 year old niece and I enjoyed both the Crystal and Dripstone tours. Hawk was an informative and entertaining guide. Wear appropriate shoes for... More

Thanks for coming to see the cave and bring the next generation with you. Hawk is a great guide and enjoys telling our visitors about Marengo Cave. Coming from the east the shortest way is to get off I-64 at exit 118 and go 24 miles on State Route 64 to the cave. When coming from the west the cave... More

Not much more to be said about the beauty of these caverns..you truly have to see them! Took the crystal palace tour - guides are phenomenal...unfortunately the people on the tour with us would not stop talking (about nothing, btw)...a piece of advice - if you're on a tour where a docent is imparting great knowledge of what you've paid...
