If you've never been to a cave before and want to see what it's like without having to crawl to do it, this is a good place for that. We took both tours - Crystal Palace (45 min) and Dripstone Trail (60 min). If you had to choose one, I recommend the Dripstone Trail as it has a few more... More

Thanks for your 4* review of Marengo Cave. Glad you enjoyed the tours. There are a lot of neat formations on both tours. Small children do better if they are not hunger or need a nap. The mosquitos must be worse this year, we have never had any one to complain about them on the porch. So you could bring... More

My wife and I took our daughter and granddaughter to this cave and we all loved it. There are two tours that you can go on. Both are guided tours. One is about 45 min. long and the other is about 1 hour and 30 min. long. We did both tours and they were great. This cave has more formations... More

Nicely done caves tours.....there are two walking tours, one of about an hour, the other, 40 minutes. Some steps, so keep that in mind. Lot's of goodies in the gift shop.

Loved the cave and cave tour - I have been to Mammoth Cave many times, but really enjoyed this cave. Smaller, more leisurely tour, very little climbing so it was good for small children or special needs children; very impressive formations. Larry our tour guide was great, very friendly and a lot of fun. So glad we went.

There are two caves you can walk through. Both are unique and an excellent experience. If you get Phil you will learn so much about caves, how they form, and what you are seeing inside. For the adventurous types (not me) they have cave crawling from 2-6 hours. You get to see parts of the cave most do not see.... More

This was our first cave visit and it was pretty cool. There are two tours and if you do the Dripstone tour you'll see everything there is to see. The Crystal Palace tour is just more of the same so don't feel like you're missing something.

My family really loves to go plunking around in the caves. The guides are super nice and the trails to and from are well maintained. The gift shop has a great selection of items and as for the price all I can say is it is reasonable.

My family had a great time! Our children are aged 7 and 9. Will was our tour guide and he was fantastic! We took the Crystal tour. Beautiful formations and interesting facts to go with the tour. Very friendly staff. Would not recommend the tour for children wanting to be carried. We also purchased bags of fossils, gemstones and emeralds... More

I have been wanting to go to a cave like this, was what I expected. Very nice, neat to see all the different types of formations in there. Can't imagine how the young kids that found it thought. I really liked the reflection pond. Still amazed. Good for the kids!! Seemed like the tour was kinda rushed, hard to look at... More

Would be for any age. Very interesting place, tour guide very knowledgeable. Took about 40 minutes in Crystal Palace and another hour on the second half. Place for kids to play outside and picnic areas available No food available but couple of very reasonable local restaurants near by.
