Very unique links-style course in Central Indiana. You won't find any course with similar style near Indianapolis area. This course has uphills and downhills, blind spots, fast greens. You can choose to play safe or risky, either way you will have fun. It is usually windy here which makes the course more challenging. I live 30 minutes away from the course but I feel like this is going to be my home course next year. I forgot to say one thing, you will lost your ball if you miss the fairway.

You need to play with young people to help find your ball, if you miss the fairway the ball is lost in the heather. The players are middle age and local. Its a links style course in good shape.

I have played The Trophy Club a number of times over the years, but am just getting around to writing a review of the experience. Designed by Pete Dye disciple, Tim Liddy, the course is a challenging and memorable experience. With the exception of a couple of par 4's that are practically clones of one another, the holes are varied and present opportunities for glory or disaster depending on your level of skill. There are a number of tee boxes to choose from so golfers of all ability can enjoy the course. The pro shop is well-stocked and there is a neat little halfway house that appropriately positioned. The condition of the course is always great. The greens putt true and fast. Tee boxes and traps are well-manicured. And the rates, though a touch high are not totally unreasonable, especially for seniors. Play can be a little slow at times because of volume, but that goes with playing a quality golf course.

Played in mid- August. the course is in phenomenal shape. I haven't played here in 5-6 years. I forgot how challenging it can be. Quite a few blind shots, narrow greens, lots of bunkers. And the greens were smooth and fast. This is a must play.

The Trophy Club’s has 18 holes, shaped into 247 acres, in a links style layout. The course has numerous elevation changes, with some water as the Prairie Creek runs through. Their large greens are built to USGA specifications. They have four sets of tees for golfers of varying skill and age level. Fairways are 60 yards wide bent grass. Taller growing blue grass and fescue surround the fairways and define each hole. We played on a rainy day but still had a great time. The greens were not as quick as I imagine that would be when dry, however, golfers still needed to pay close attention to slope or the putt would get away. The entire course was in immaculate condition. The course staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our two foursome had a great time on this our first visit to The Trophy Club. We definitely look forward to returning.
