This place has amazing reviews, but they hardly open. I purchased tickets through another website and had to give them the way, due to scattered open days of the park and my schedule. The kids and I were sad. Maybe one day we will make...More

This place is a Hidden Gem. My son has recently become obsessed with trains, so when I found this was on our route we had to check it out. We do not regret it. We spent a good part of the day here riding the...More

Traveling with three children (10, 5, 2), it can be a challenge finding things that interest all three. Hesston hit the mark! There's something about riding trains that appeals to all ages. The tiny train is hilariously cute and fun to ride! All three of...More

We love bringing our daughter to see the trains. She loves to ride the trains and see the conductors.

We went during Labor Day weekend which is their big steam show, where all the trains are running as well as the steam powered saw mill and the crane. They also had examples of steam run tractors and other old tractors. They have a small...More

Hesston is always so much fun for the family, for all ages. Different size trains, different activities on display, and sales during the Steam show. We go every year and highly recommend it. Looking forward to the Halloween and Christmas trains this year too!

The volunteer staff at Hesston Steam Museum has done a tremendous job of keeping everything in working order. While the trains are a total blast to ride, the kids (and their parents and grandparents) pick up on the ways of the past. The sawmill has...More

I'm 6'3" 330 and no one looked at me twice. There's some really big people on them. I never saw anyone asked and there certainly aren't any signs anywhere. This applies to all trains including the smallest 'ride-on' trains.
