Un paese spesso dimenticato perché una strada di recente costruzione ne evita l'attraversamento. La cosa non deve far rinunciare ad una breve ma bellissima visita. Borgo incantevole e pulitissimo! Tenuto come una bomboniera!

Dopo la visita alle grotte, abbiamo voluto continuare la passeggiata al vecchio borgo, tranquillo e pulito. Quattro passi per le viuzze del paese nel silenzio del pomeriggio e per smaltire un buon pranzo di cucina locale....

Abbiamo fatto quattro passi di ritorno dalle grotte in attesa del pranzo. Paesino caratteristico da cui si gode di un panorama meraviglioso. Degna di nota la numerosa presenza di panchine all'ombra.

Un borghetto molto carino, ben tenuto, tappa piacevole e riposante.

Falvaterra è un piccolo borgo sulle primissime pendici del Monti Aurunci, molto vicino alle grotte di Pastena e non lontano da altre interessanti destinazioni per il viaggiatore con una marcia in più. Sorprende piacevolmente per l'aspetto armonico, l'estetica, la pulizia, si vede che è un posto ben tenuto da persone che ci tengono. C'è una piazza carina con un buon bar- trattoria (il Sagittario, consigliassimo) e un minuscolo spaccio che ha di tutto, dagli alimentari a penne ed accendini. Si passeggia in deliziosi vicoli ben lastricati, altre piazzette, dei belvedere sulla vallata... Una tappa molto piacevole.
