I was in a quick visit to the hotel as a part of my plan for my wedding.
The property is amazing too beautiful too peaceful like really something wow.
While i was there I’ve noticed how they take extra care of the cleanliness specially during this current situation, they spray everywhere sanitizing every touch point.
Salman the supervisor from the front office was really helpful. All staff were wearing masks and gloves keeping the social meters distance.
The extra care they apply regarding the current crisis is really what made me feel save and comfortable.
Will see you soon to experience more.

A lot work required

The zoo requires more animals. The guided bus tour was poor, it's the same animals which I think was camels and ostriches? And a small section of monkey's . I know it's a hot place but the animals looked lethargic and sad, more care needed for the animals...possibly more shelter too. The only happy looking and energetic animal was the chimpanzees in the indoor section. My daughter liked it which all that mattered...but I'd only go back there for her.

Wild animals in cages, really sad and depressing
Jan 2020 • Family
This is not a reserve, it's a zoo, with animals in cages. I almost cried seeing the disperation of two brown bears trapped in a cage under the sun if the desert.
The Lions and other feline where clearly sad and depressed.
The only animals who seemed to be happy were the camels and the goats but you don't need to pay a ticket to see them around Bahrein.

Not for the animal lover. More animal management required as a matter of urgency.

Disappointing. Lovely grounds but animals are not well cared for. SOME visitors have no respect for the environment dropping litter anywhere and throwing rubbish into animal enclosures which do not appear to be regularly cleaned/maintained by staff. Their are signs up warning of fines but I observed several people dropping litter wherever they liked and parents having no control of children who were screaming at animals and throwing items including rubbish into enclosures. An extremely inexpensive day out which should be really educational and an opportunity to get really close to animals. Unfortunately some people should not be allowed this close. I’ll be honest I didn’t go to the big cat, monkey or large animal enclosures from what I saw prior. It is an old school zoo in my view and enclosures need to be made bigger and made to resemble natural environments. Gardens and park area are great, so why aren’t the animal enclosures better equipped? This is what should be fantastic as it’s the main exhibit, not just a picnic area where the animals are the side show. Selling Siamese fighting fish and small reptiles at the souvenir shop from this sort of organisation??? This tells me the animals are treated as a throw away object like a plastic toy!!! Please Please be more conservation aware rather than trying to be a theme park.

My visit to wildlife park
Nov 2019 • Family
Based upon my own visit I would have to say this is really for families with children. Although one can see there has been a real attempt to display the birds properly one feels that hopefully a greater attention will be paid towards the wild cats with regard to a redistribution of space. If you are taking small children I am certain they will enjoy themselves tremendously. There are a couple of snack places to buy hot and cold beverages as well as the usual chocolates etc...

The park has also improvised mini taxis to drive people around if the children find it too much. The ostriches and birds are very well organized and I saw several children very engaged with exploring the aviary. I would suggest renting a car to go there. The distance is not great and takes roughly 20 - 25 mins. It is/was 1BD each for adults when I went and is a good price considering a holiday budget.

I would suggest though if your children do get hungry fast to perhaps take a pizza with you which you can leave in the car for consumption before your return trip to town. I would also allow 2 hours for the activity. Some families were well equipped and spread blankets on the lawn with their picnic gear and in winter I think this is very feasible.

The one thing though which might help older children to enjoy it more would be to internet search buggies, parrots, leopards, cheetahs etc before visiting so your children can play a matching activity and learn three or four basic facts about each subject to really get the most out of it. I suggest therefore, printing 10 pictures and writing three or four facts on the back and rewarding yourself children for spotting and correctly identifying the main points you wish them to learn. That should give mum and dad a little time to breath! For me personally, I would return.

Good Place to Visit and Spent Time
May 2019 • Family
Visited in May'19 with family and friends. The park needs good maintenance and the animals require good feeding. If you are planning to visit this place in summer, ensure that to carry enough energies. However, a must visit place for kids.

Good place to visit
Apr 2019 • Friends
Visited last month. Spread in large area so used e-cart. Maintenance of this park surely not up to the standard. Animals also not active due to lack of feeding. However it is must visit place if you are traveling with kids.

Great Day
Apr 2019 • Family
I took my family who were visiting me during April 2019. It was a great day out for the whole family of all ages. The scenery is beautiful!

The golf cart journey was fantastic, I recommend this 100%, I think it was 10BD and they take you far out to see the animals. Great when you need a little shelter from the sun too as it gets very hot midday.

Some of the animals look very hot and tired but they do have plenty of water to drink with water space available.
