SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY
This is a large visitor center with lots of information. They have lots of souvenirs for sale. The best part was the helpful friendly lady that worked there. She had “southern hospitality.”

Visiting the Center was the best advice ever.
On May 14th my family came to the Visitors Center to find a Christian church located in Jeffersonville, IN. My parents were married there 61 years ago. There was a nice older gentleman there that gave us directions to the correct church. He knew the church we were looking for and gave us directions to find it. And find it we did because of him. We actually planned out 4 day trip around finding it. Our trip was GREAT thanks to this gentleman. Sorry we did not get his name.

Good Information Center
Friendly and helpful people who will really want to share their home with you. THey will give the best routes, and places to eat. Also great information for relocation to the area.

Always make a visitors center your first stop
It makes sense to always make a visitors center your first stop if you are spending any time in a certain area. It's the best way to plan you stay. Even though we did get some good information here, the lady helping us had on just too much perfume (like she had bathed in it). My husband and I are both very sensitive to perfumes and it made it very difficult for us to be around her (I ended up walking out). I don't think people dealing with the public should wear perfumes because some people do have allergies or asthma. If places can be smoke free why not perfume free too?
