I visited this library for the first time with my grandson and I found it to be perfect place for us to spend a couple of hours together.loved everything about it. The staff very helpful.

A modern neighborhood library that is in the center of activity in Irvington, a historic neighborhood east of downtown. Designed by Architect, James McQuiston it is a perfect example of blending new architecture in the historic district.

When a new library building was constructed to accommodate the new technology I regretted seeing the Hilton U. Brown name disappear. However, Irvington branch is much more representative of the area today. The library is spacious, well-lighted and comfortable, with a variety of seating choices....More

WOW! What a beautiful place! You have got to see it to believe it! If you are reading this, you are thinking about it, GO.... ENJOY! Allow yourself plenty of time. You won't be sorry. Have fun, be safe
