We have been to many ropes courses all over the country and the world, this was by far the biggest disappointment we have experienced in a ropes course. Our guide gave poor directions to the group. We spent a majority of our time waiting and not climbing or zipping. It is

Hi there, Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm sorry that you were disappointed by your experience, but hopefully, I can address some of your concerns. Our supervision rules are in place for the safety of all guests, regardless of experience level. Our courses are laid out differently than other courses across the world, so experience on one won't necessarily equate to experience on the other. To preserve the independence of the adventure, our staff do not go up in the trees with you, but they are always patrolling the forest below (whether you see them or not) and are available to provide assistance when needed. I'll follow up with our site team to make sure every guest gets the individual attention they need during the opening safety training session and practice course. We share your prioritization of guest preparedness before entering the course! Please let us know if we can help with anything else. Cheers! JK

I wouldn’t recommend this zip line. The platform to stop is a pile of dirt covered in mulch and unless you can get turned around the right way in time to get a running start to stop yourself, you end up landing on your back skidding to a stop! Not fun at all. Very disappointed

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to share feedback of your Go Ape experience! I wanted to take a moment to address your concerns with our landing sites. We focus the majority of our operational effort towards assessing the risks of all aspects of our courses, including our landing sites. We maintain all of our landing sites both daily and monthly while also tracking the speeds of each zip line to ensure safe operation. Our zip lines, as well as the rest of our operation, are in compliance with all relevant industry standards. Additionally, our safety brief includes instructions on the safest way to land our zip lines in which you always keep your feet as low as possible so that they are able to stop you and allow you to avoid dragging on your back. Again, we appreciate your feedback and will use it to further improve our safety instructions, particularly in the best practices for zip landings. If you have any further concerns, please feel free to reach out to info@goape.com and we would be happy to provide any additional info. Cheers, LJ

We had a great experience! Self-confidence builder, and fun at the same time. Great help and training, but enough independence to make me feel accomplished. Thank you!
