Pleasant walk with children, and when they had enough, we rented a paddle boat. Well worth the time, even got a book from the small library on the way out.

Great little gem in the heart of Indianapolis. If you like outdoor concerts but don't like huge crowds this is the place for you. We had a beautiful night on the lawn. Very family friendly.

It is a well taken care of green park that is great to walk with your dogs at. And you can easily walk to some other cool spots in Indy from there.

We parked in the Zoo parking lot which is a short walk to the state park and it is free. It is a nice walk over the river and a clean lot. Safe from all we could tell.
