Colorful, well planned out for minimal space. The "wedding" area is a perfect backdrop any bride should consider for her event. Lots of different areas, with tons of varieties of plantings. Very peaceful and relaxing.

The White River Gardens are adjacent to the Indianapolis zoo and included in the price. If you enjoy being outside and viewing plants, flowers, landscaping you'll love this visit.

Great place for walkers and to spend some me time. I went early morning and it was peaceful. Could not ask for a better place to send some alone time.

Included with INdy Zoo admission. The butterfly house is so fun and enlightening for any age, and the gardens are breathtaking. A popular destination for weddings, especially summer evenings.

I can tell the gardens should be beautiful. But in early March this are no out door plants. It looks like the backyard of an abandoned mansion. I'm not even sure why they bother to open it before they have any plants. Although, even with the lack of plant life, there was a semi romantic feel to walking around there.

Very peaceful and special to be in with orchids and staghorn ferns and all kinds of tropical plants and have butterflies flit around you and occasionally land on you. The grounds are pretty for events too.

If you're visiting the Indy Zoo, you have to make time to explore the White River Gardens. This lush oasis is such a lovely place to spend an hour or two. Their themed gardens are so well-kept! My favorite is the Sunken Garden, since you don't see many of those anymore. Be sure to check out the gift shop for... More

The gardens here are incredible! Defiantly worth the money! You get admission to the Zoo as well as the gardens for less that $20.

A lovely way to spend a lazy afternoon, casually walking about, enjoying nice weather and beautiful surroundings. Considering it was late Sept. when we went, the garden still looked lovely and very well maintained. Loved the small animal sculptures and the water gardens were inspiring!

Came here for an art auction, and we were allowed to visit the gardens. Truly amazing the varieties of plants, etc. Should be a must for Indy visitors.
