Enjoyed an afternoon at this nice state park. Everything was clean and well maintained. The kids played on the playground, ran on some trails in the woods, walked around the fishing pond and wore themselves out after having so much fun!

I did the Lawrence Creek trail for the first time. I was in Indy for business so I took a change of clothes. It had stormed all morning but it stopped by the afternoon. The trail was wet of course. There were little streams of water flowing down the trails- it was beautiful! Lots of wild flowers as well.

This is an amazing area for being so close to downtown Indy. The hiking trails are not very difficult but can be crowded on the weekends. There are close to 8 miles of mountain biking trails that are easy to moderate. Several playgrounds, a sledding hill, plenty of picnic shelters, and picnic tables round out a nice park.

The large spacious open areas of Ft Harrison State Park, the availability of a hotel, restaurant facilities and for those who golf; a golf course make this a pleasant well rounded adventure. The buffet on Sunday is a hit with many, so make sure you make your reservations early and not wait until the last minute or you won't get... More

The park is very convenient to get to. Just off 465 on the east side. There are hiking and biking trails for people of any age group. A lot of open spaces to play games and have picnics. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is a great park located right in the city. There are lots of different trails and bike paths. Some paved and some natural terrain. Duck ponds and playgrounds for the younger visitors. There is an EXCELLENT sledding hill in the winter.

One of our absolute favorite places in Indy. 15 minutes from our home and only $50.00 for a year long pass that includes every state park in Indiana. Super busy day because of the weather but there are enough trails that they aren't crowded because most people stay on the paved areas. It's a little bit of wildness inside the... More

Very expansive grounds. When used for an event it is most accommodating. Other times it is just a place for hiking.
