I was happy to find this rather large park in an otherwise concrete-bound area. This park is not perfect, but it is a great way to escape and get back to nature. Expect to pay $5 for parking per vehicle if you live in the same county, $6 if you're from out of town. There are about 15 miles of... More

It is a big chunk of land with a zip line course, trails threw nature, gun range and man made lake. The zip line course is called go ape zip lines, the lake is called eagle creak beach. They have lots of triathlons held there in the summer. The beach has a wibit for patrons to climb on.

I enjoy riding my bike thru the park, and hiking the trails with the family. I've rented the sailboats a few times, and the canoes. It makes for a fun day for the family. But.... it's not super amazing, it's just a state park. Trees, roads, hiking trails. The Go Ape place is fun. That makes it a bit different... More

Anytime is a lovely time to visit Eagle Creek. Fun to watch the boaters, kayakers or take a spin on a paddle boat yourself. Such a tranquil place in Indy!

There are a 4 trails that are clearly marked and very easy to follow. The trail is well maintained. There are usually a number of people waking along the trail in the mornings and afternoon. So fat I have only walked asking a short Orrin of the red trail and the entire orange trail. There are stairs and some are... More

I will start off by stating that I have an annual pass to this park. As a veteran the reduced cost makes this one of the best entertainment areas in Indianapolis. I was raised in the country and had acres of wooded land that was my piece of heaven. I often regretted that I now live in a city and... More

Kids had a good time, very friendly staff. Just not sure why they charge grandparents or parents who are not swimming to get in to watch kids swim. They had to pass swim test they have jackets on and lifeguards. It was not busy the day we went. We had 6 kids at$4 each plus the gate fee $5 and... More

What a wonderful park. So close to downtown Indianapolis, with lots to enjoy. You can rent boats, picnic, a small swimming area, lots of walking and running trails, great park for bird watching, and a wonderful place for biking. Lots of trees and lots of shade. Admission is $6./car. Well worth a visit!
