What a wonderful park. So close to downtown Indianapolis, with lots to enjoy. You can rent boats, picnic, a small swimming area, lots of walking and running trails, great park for bird watching, and a wonderful place for biking. Lots of trees and lots of shade. Admission is $6./car. Well worth a visit!

This is a hidden gem! What a wonderful personalized tour of the city park. I just can't believe that this beautiful park is only minutes away from downtown. All of the guides are helpful volunteers who enjoy sharing nature and teaching about kayak and canoe skills. What a nice way to enjoy Indianapolis. When you are at this park don't... More

I was taken to dinner on the water at Eagle Creek. 22 people came to celebrate with me. The food was great, the entertainment was wonderful.

One of the largest municipal parks in the US and located just off Highway 65 in northwest Indianapolis, this place is a wonderful outdoor refuge. There is a trail that leads to the park from our hotel on Digital Way so we ran to the park and back (about 3 miles round trip) in the morning and decided to come... More

For a day trip, this park has just about everything one could want--including pavilions that are spaced far enough apart to enjoy some privacy in a wonderful woodsy setting.
