Road Trip! Our guide was a retired 4th grade teacher who knew a lot of state history. This was the first tour where you could actually touch the chairs in the House and Senate, and they let you sit in the chairs of the legislators!...More

Not a normal stop for us, but well worth it. The Intern that took us to all the sites in the capitol great. We learned a lot about the State Government. The Capitol Site is beautiful. Glad we decided to look around.

It is a beautiful Capitol Building with lots of history. You just walk in and stroll around someone is always asking if they can be of help.

Very nice, loooooved the architecture here. It is way better than ours is. So much to look at having four floors to explore through. Definetly would recommend bringing the kids.

We were surprised by how many people were visiting the capitol with us- usually a private tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and could answer all questions we had.

You need not have business here to stop in and look at a building that cost $2 million to build in the 19th century. Marble everywhere along with statues and busts. The high point (no pun intended) is the dome which you can view from...More

No, no fee. We usually get a private or semi-private tour of state capitols but when we visited, we were with a small school group. That is always good because we actually get more info. than if just adults. Of course, I... More
