This is interesting and worth a stop however it is much smaller than I'd imagine. I figured this place would be at least a couple hours to visit but honestly you could be done in here in 20 minutes or less.
This place would be easy to miss because it is located under Circle Centre Mall near a Panera Bread restaurant. I wasn't expecting much, and thought this would be at best a 20 minute walkthrough. I was amazed at the array of instruments both historical...More
While I do admit that it can get boring if you visit often, it's always great fun to go. It's like any other museum: If you've seen it once, you've seen it enough. The best part, though, is the instrumental sections where you can actually...More
I love that we have this creative center available. I had no idea it was even downtown and I have lived here for 15 years. It wasn't until I was invited to a toddler birthday party, that I had the privilege to experience it. My...More

We took our 3 teenage boys here one Sunday afternoon. We practically had the place to ourselves. There are hundreds of musical instruments to play. But my favorite part was the historical pieces from famous musicians (like Rush) and other cultures. I practically had to...More

No free parking, but the garage for the Circle Center Mall has reasonable rates, and is very convenient. The walk from the garage, throught the Circle Center Mall and Arts Garden to the Rhythm Center is all enclosed for any kind of weather. And it's all escalator too. Easy in! But you'll have to look for the relatively small signs when you get to the Arts Garden. FYI, the Arts Garden is that circular, glass structure above the intersection. You'll see it from the street level. The Rhythm Center is in a basement level space on the southwest corner of that intersection.
