We had some extra time in Indy, so after consulting TripAdvisor, we decided to try this place. With 2 boys, 11 and 6, I was interested in a place where I wouldn't have to constantly tell them to be quiet and stop touching things, and RDC filled that bill!! We were lucky that a drum circle had just started when... More

I had a Groupon for this visit so the cost was greatly discounted. It was a bit difficult to find the place but worth it. I took my Kindergarten age grandson who is into music and he loved it. He was able to try all kinds of instruments but definitely the full sized drum set in the sound proof studio... More

We visited this "percussion museum" recently with our 16 year old son (who is a drummer) and several neices and nephews ranging from 10 to 18 years old. we all enjoyed our time here. We were impressed by the drum kits belonging to important percussionists from assorted eras such as Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich, Neal Peart and The Beatles. The... More

This place is truly a hidden gem. It is fun for both kids and adults. You get to play all kinds of percussion instruments and not have to worry about the noise lever. There are also a couple sound proof rooms with complete drum sets where you can really go crazy.

Visited for my nephew's birthday party. It is a great place for kids who enjoy music, especially drums

This was such a fun and interesting experience! I think I had as much fun as my kids - and loved it! Prices were reasonable for a museum and this was so much more than your standard museum outing. Rhythm! combines a quality museum experience with interactive elements that keep it fun and exciting. Your self-guided tour starts with a... More

What a fun place! I had hoped there would be some drum kits from famous drummers displayed here and I was not disappointed. They rotate them sometimes, so I won't mention any here so as not to get your hopes up. There are interactive percussion instruments and two full drum kits to bang away on in a sound proof room.... We LOVE the rhythm museum! We've been taking our son there since he was one year old. He loves playing the different percussion instruments, especially the big drums! I love getting to try out new instruments like the steel drums and the tubular bells. We always have fun when we go. It doesn't take long to see the entire museum... More

Wow. Everyone from parents to college kids to 8th graders enjoyed the museum visit. Drum circle time was a hoot. Very interactive museum.

This is a museum operated by the Percussive Arts Society and it includes many gems, from historic drum sets to unusual pieces of percussion gear. It's kind of hidden in a basement under a restaurant but it's well worth finding.
