I thought the War Memorial did a better job but it is worth a quick tour. The Moument itself was excellent.

The monument is right in the middle of a busy intersection and is cool to have there. I didn't go inside the museum because it didn't seem to be open. But it does look cool and is something to take a picture by.

This is an attractive piece of the city to memorialize the soldiers of the past. The monument is big and loaded with nice statues.

We found walking around the downtown Indy a delight. This Monument has much information and was easy to find.

This is an impressively large monument with amazing craftsmanship. Though the content is slightly alarming. In particular the depiction of African Americans.

It is a must see when in Indianapolis. At Christmas it is lit and very spectacular beside being a part of history.

This is one place that I take people that come to see me from out of town and out of state. I always show them the downtown area.

we were escorted - thanks to our kind host. But I distinctly remember he parked at the Mall in close vicinity - there was not an inch on the Monument circle.

Sully06, the museum is under the big monument on monument circle in downtown Indy, and has, as you can imagine, a circular street all around it, like a big roundabout, but with stop lights. The only parking is in garages... More
