Great museum and military shrine no to mention the attraction of the architecture of the building itself. Very sobering inside.

My father was a WWII Vet that fought in the Pacific Theater in the Marine Corps. I always think of my Dad when I visit this place. A very majestic memorial deserving for our veterans!

See that buidling? The whole top part is one huge memorial room. The basement houses a history museum. The Memorial is located down town in the grassy mall just south of the Central Library. Spend a couple of hours discovering an often overlooked spot right in the heart of the circle city.

This was an amazing sight to behold in a downtown that doesn't have too much glitz and glam going for it. Being out the outskirts of downtown I was really amazed to visit this site.

This place had been recommended and I'm sorry we never took our children as it is a treasure of patriotic knowledge. Historical and best of all, it's free!
