The Venue was very nice great sight lines and easy to get to bar but to get to the venue, we had to walk thru the casino, a winding path to get to the stairs/escalator, that took us thru a very smoky and smelly casino, why is there not a direct way to get to the venue. Hate the way my clothes smelled when I left, a real disappointment and this will be the reason I won't be back.

The place isn't that big, so most of the seats are pretty good. We've seen three concerts/shows there now and will definitely go again when they have somebody we want to see. We like to go and have dinner, and do a little gambling before the show. Also, the parking is free, so that is nice.

Worst venue ever. Took over an hour to get in. We have been sitting in the parking garage for a half hour waiting to leave and traffic has not moved yet. Lord only knows how long it is going to take to get out. Won’t come back again.

I have seen both comedy shows and concerts here. The room is small enough that you can't really have a "bad" seat, but large enough to accommodate a crowd large enough to provide the energy needed to make a show that much better. The bar service is fast and parking is a breeze. I wish that there were more shows here.

Saw Boz Scaggs July 25 in concert here. Sound was good, Had 2 big Monitors at the sides of the stage to help in viewing the performers. The tiered seats were very nice, cushiony and comfortable. Only bad seats in the house might be the closest to the stage. Those seats are on the floor about 3-5 feet below the stage level. Some shorter folks probabaly had sore necks by the end of the night.

There is a buffet across from the theater, it was included in the package we got. Nice variety of food, a little slow at times restocking it. Overall a good experience.

The bad part for some would be getting to the theater. You must walk through the casino to get to it. Indiana casinos still allow smoking (there was no smoking in the theater and the buffet). When we left for the evening, we did smell of smoke.

Thanks for the feedback and we're glad you enjoyed the show! Next time you come visit us make sure to check out all of the non-smoking sections we have on the casino floor.

We saw Boz Scaggs there last night. Our first time at the theater. Awesome concert, Boz does not disappoint. But I'm not here to review Boz. The theater is nice and the sound system really good. There's a big gap between the front section (100's ) seating and the (200) seating. Great room to dance however kind of distracting with people getting up to get drinks or use the bathroom. We were in section 201 row N and the seats were fine. You're not close to the stage, but the two big screens on either side help with that. I was most impressed with the seats themselves. Big comfy seats, did not feel squished in at all. Free parking!

The only negative and why I did not give it 5 stars is that you have to walk through the casino to get to the Venue. The smoke about killed me. Yes, I would go back to see another concert here.

The Venue at the Horseshoe Hammond is perfect for a concert. I don't think there is a bad seat in the place, though I always like to sit up close.
But no matter where you sit the acoustics are wonderful and the siight lines are fantstic.
Topping that off, it is a coxy venue - not too big - in fact, jusr right to not feel crowded and cramped.

I tried the sandwich part of the Eatery which is on the Casino level. They have a list of sandwiches that can be made into a wrap or a salad. I went low carb and made one a salad. I chose Chicken, avocado, bacon. It was only $8.00 and was really good. They also have a burger, pizza and coffee section which I will now have to try.

I attended the Anthony Hamilton concert at the Venue. Anthony Hamilton is one of my favorite entertainers, not only did he perform an awesome show but the Food and Drink Package was the icing on the cake. I was debating between this ticket package and VIP and hands-down I'm glad that I selected this package.

You enter into a separate entrance on the second floor which also has its own restroom just for people on that floor. You walk into your specified room and there are unlimited drinks (not watered down), your own personal bartender as well as waitstaff.

The Food is hot, fresh, plentiful and the setup is really nice. Some of the selections were: buffalo chicken tenders (nice size and not dried out); battered fish (seasoned really well); Jumbo Shrimp; some vegetarian and other meat options; vegetables; and beautiful deserts including my favorite Chocolate Covered Strawberries (they weren't skimpy with these).

You have a great view of the stage, you can choose to sit in your designated seat, or there are about 6 stools at the bar area which are also facing the stage, same great view. Or you could mingle and view from the television that is also set up in the area.

This would be a great girl's night out option, I also noticed several 'Pretty Ricky is what they call him' who were trying to impress their dates and the women looked like they would have rather enjoyed without them. I on the other hand didn't have that issue cause I'm a BOSS and purchased my own ticket, lol. Nevertheless this could be a great date night, impressive client meeting or just a fun night out with your friends or solo-dolo. It's not too crowded in this space, it's cool, not hot and stuffy and it is a chance to see some of your favorite musicians from a different perspective.

The only issue I encountered was the employee who tried to direct me to my seat and insisted that my tickets were further up and not in this section. I could've been insulted had he mattered but not even his clownish response was going to ruin my night out to see Anthony Hamilton. If you get the chance check out Anthony Hamilton and definitely select this package if it is available you won't be disappointed!
