Although this is downsized from its original reconstruction, it is a great lesson from the past and an enjoyable visit for an hour.

The buildings are neat if not boring when there is no event going on. Great place to go if you're into Pokemon Go.

Today we spent the afternoon in historic Fort Wayne, IN. Wow, we learned a great deal about the city. The exhibits were excellent and informative. I highly recommend visiting this historic area. You will not be disappointed.

Built in 2004, it's just a replica but still interesting. It was built from the plans of an actual 1800's fort that had been burned down.

This is a small old fort, nicely restored and easily accessible in the center of town, but go on a weekend when they have a re-enactment, otherwise it may be disappointing. During the monthly reenactment, there are folks who dress and live in period costume and lifestyle. They are fascinating to talk to and very knowledgeable and helpful. You can... More

Pretty much all former Fort Wayne school children from the 80s-90s have fond memories of sleepovers at the Old Fort. Imagine our disappointment when the attraction closed. Thanks to the Friends of the Fort, this attraction is up and running once more for a new generation! Witness historical reenactments, participate in live demonstrations, and stroll through this recreation of the... More

Especially during festival time, this is a great historic place with much history behind it. The volunteers behind it are very knowledgeable and play the part very well. We've enjoyed the Old Fort for generations.

General Anthony Wayne had a storied career and left his mark on the history of the Northwest and Indiana territories. This particular fort was later named for him, then destroyed. The replica buildings are open only during special events, but the grounds are open to walk around daily. There is no parking on Spy Run and downtown streets are metered.... More

Visited the Historic Fort Wayne and really enjoyed the park. There were replicas of the original buildings. It is very interesting walking through the park.
