Enjoyed our visit to FWMoA one cold, damp January day. Allow about 60-90 mins to walk the exhibits that change regularly. Two favorites when we were there: Robert Kipniss’ The Whispering Light and John Baeder’s sketches of airplanes (Takes Wing on a Higher Road) Pluses: * Fine art rotates regularly so you can return periodically without seeing the same thing... The receptionist failed to tell us that a portion of the museum was closed off due to preparation for an event held at the museum. We walked through one section of museum and wondered where the other exhibits were. A guard informed us that the other exhibits (sections) were closed. We would have toured the museum on another day. So... More

This is a very nice art center. It has an area for kids but there are a few nice pieces in there as well. They had a nice show when I was there on Indiana art, it was very traditional (other shows were more contemporary don't get me wrong) I really enjoyed it though it was an interesting look at... The spaces and lighting were fantastic and the displays varied. Two of the galleries were being reworked but looked to hold nothing of great interest. The fine glass show was astounding and we found it difficult to tear away from several of the pieces. Even the civil war art gallery was interesting once we had the story behind the art

The FWMA is another wonderful attraction in downtown FW. A variety of shows appealing to a broad audience. The glass exhibition is a rarity in a town like FW. It was superb. Congrats on continuing to evolve .

Lots of very interesting art. I really appreciated the variety. The hand drawn blueprints that were on display were especially fascinating to me. We went early in the morning so not many people were there. The staff wasn't especially friendly, but overall a very enjoyable experience.

I have been to many events here and it is a beautiful space but there isn't very much art so I never quite understood how it qualified as an art museum and not an event bureau with great art. What is there is beautiful, but it is just not much.

This museum offers a continuing rotation of fine art. It is always a treat to drop by and experience the latest show. Not a big museum but modern and worth the time to drop-in.

Constantly changing exhibits make this a worthwhile place to visit from time to time. Very nice shop is practically a gallery itself.

Lots to see, exhibits are ever changing, so it is a good place to return to. I enjoyed the Native American display.
