As a Fort Wayne native I loved this tour! It was great to learn not only about downtown history but also more about the new art popping up all over. Each restaurant had delicious food selected for us (make sure to share any allergies ahead of time as we didn’t choose what was served while on the tour) and by the time we were done I was so full!
I absolutely recommend taking this tour with family or friends, even if you’ve lived in Fort Wayne your whole life. If absolutely nothing else - do it for the towers of DeBrands chocolate to share that round out the food portion ☺️ But I know you will end the tour full of interesting facts and delicious food!

We had a fabulous time touring downtown Fort Wayne and learning about the history and culinary scene that the city has developed. The 4 stops were all excellent and the food and staff was amazing. Amber is very knowledgeable and does an excellent job engaging the group in discussion.

It is a leisurely 3 hour tour and you will learn a lot about Fort Wayne whether you grew up here, are a transplant to the city or if you are first time visitor. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to learn more about this great city.

Everything about this tour was wonderful. We all enjoyed excellent food served by great staff at four different establishments. The knowledge of Fort Wayne history by our guide Amber was a highlight of our day. We loved viewing many of the public art murals downtown. Seeing how vibrant and alive our city is becoming was the icing on the cake! I highly recommend taking this Eat, Walk, Enjoy tour!

Had an exceptional experience learning the history, art history and eating at 4 downtown restaurants. This 3 hour leisurely walk through downtown Fort Wayne takes you by historical landmarks, beautiful painted murals and into 4 wonderful restaurants. Amber Bouthot, owner and tour guide, has done her homework and shares the history of downtown. Even as a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, I learned even more about Fort Wayne. It is well worth the time and money. She is adding additional tour for the 2022 season and I look forward going on other tours.

Our food tour provided a wonderful experience. The delicious food and insights into Fort Wayne's history were truly enjoyable. Connecting with other couples was a bonus, and Amber, our fantastic guide, made it even more memorable. Exploring downtown offered a glimpse into the city's history and culinary scene. The four stops were excellent, boasting outstanding food and staff. Amber's expertise made the discussions engaging. Highly recommended for those intrigued by Fort Wayne. The blend of history, art, and dining downtown was remarkable. The leisurely walk covers landmarks, murals, and delightful restaurants. Amber Bouthot, the owner and guide, shared downtown's history impressively. Even as a lifelong resident, I learned something new. A valuable experience in terms of time and money.

Who starts a tour off with filet, food you have never imagined trying, learning why Fort Wayne needs to celebrate October 22, 1794, and ends with the best chocolates you ever tasted? This tour! Randy is an absolute Fort Wayne gem! This man is full of knowledge. I have lived here since 1992 and thought a trip to the History Center was enough, not! But wait, the food is to die for. Make sure you come hungry!

My wife and I last Saturday went on the Fort Wayne Food Tour. The tour went to four downtown Fort Wayne restaurants and along the way we learned interesting facts about Fort Wayne history along the way on our walking tour. Our host was very friendly, knowledgeable, and a great guide. We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour. The food was great, the history was interesting and fun, and the walk was very nice. I think that we will take the tour again next year.

We met up with tour guide Randy and the others signed up fir the tour at Halls Gashouse. A bit of food there, introductions and we were on to the next restaurant. Along the way Randy pointed out places of note in Fort Wayne's history (not in the boring history teacher way). We hit four more restaurants (all included in the ticket price) and finished happy, educated and Full at DeBrands Chocoloate.

Fantastic tour of downtown with excellent food along the way. As a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, I learned so many things about the history of our town that I had never heard before. The food at each of the stops was fantastic and three pieces of rich DeBrand chocolate were a perfect finisher. You do have to be over 21 to go on the tour. The tour guide was able to answer all kinds of random questions about Fort Wayne's history. Interesting how many different businesses and buildings have changed over the years. The tour runs spring through fall.
