Last summer, we stumbled across Fair Oaks while driving to Louisville. Our kids, 5, 2, 2, had so much fun in the three hours we had, we decided to make it a full day adventure this summer. Believe me, it was worth the price for...More

I understand everyone has different views on farming and livestock. This place was pricey and not what I had in mind for visiting a farm. I did not do my research beforehand so that's my mistake. The operation basically shows you how a large scale...More

Fair Oaks Farm has something for everyone. They manage their facility and their tours wonderfully. The Pig Farm is a must-see, with a growing barn to see piglets to maturity, a gestation and breeding barn (seeing the "teaser boars" paraded in front of the sows...More

We chose Fair Oaks Farms for our large corporate family day, and they delivered. We were able to reserve a large banquet room. The food was delicious, and our group was free to come and go from the room as needed. Our group was able...More

Took our grandsons 4 & 7 years old. Really great entertainment for kids seeing cows, pigs and a few outdoor activities. Very good food in cafeteria and ice cream the best. At $25 each to get in a bit overpriced. Not really my idea of...More

Don't eat at the restaurant. Overpriced, terrible, tasteless meatloaf and battered fish was obviously frozen--like one would purchase at discount grocery. Grilled cheese next door is great.

We took a family trip to Fair Oaks. Our grandsons loved the cows and pigs. We loved learning about how the cows and pigs are raised. The Farmhouse Restaurant had an extensive menu. The food was great. We will be back.

I was a bit unimpressed with Fair Oaks Farms. I guess my expectations were a bit more hands-on, which definitely wasn't the case. We brought our 3 and 6 year old for the cow experience. It was pricey. The kids enjoyed the train and jumping...More

We enjoyed the experience but it's pricey. Can't visit the barns or exhibits without paying. Climbing wall, train, bouncing can only be done by purchasing a wrist band. Frustrating when my kids only wanted to do the climbing wall. We ended up getting ice cream...More

Couldn't agree more. The last time we went we had a 2 year old and two 4 year olds, not to mention a 65 year old Grandpa and a 64 year old Grandma. In the area of the parking lot and the ticket office, the distance is not... More

When we were there, though we saw the dog park, we never saw anyone walking around with a dog, whether on the buses, in the barns or in the exhibits. I don't know if I would want to keep my pet in the car while I was... More
