I've fished here for years. The bigger pits are better to fish by boat. There are plenty of small pits you can fish from shore. Bass, bluegill and even Muskie are available.

Roads are great for riding and they aren't very busy. You can start here and then venture out to many parts of the county without much traffic. I have heard the fishing is great; as well as bird watching!

We live nearby and drive through Bluegrass Fish and Wildlife Area almost every day. It is beautiful countryside and the fishermen love it. There are also many opportunities for wildlife observing and photography.

I absolutely loved kayaking here! For not having an actual address, it wasn't too hard to find. The weather was great while we were there, and the depth and area are absolutely perfect for kayaking. I would go back again and again if I had...More

Not easy to get to off the beaten path, but well worth the visit. Decent fishing and great natural beauty.

This is a wonderful place to kayak. It's quiet. You'll see a variety of birds and easy in and out of the lakes. I plan to spend more time on the water until winter sets in.

Very peaceful & large areas to safely kayak while enjoying nature. I especially like the quiet section where only small boats are permitted.

There is no real business or building here, it's really just a wildlife area owned by the city/state with some picnic tables and a gravel lot. Most people who kayak here either have their own or come as a part of a group... More
