For the past 25+ years my friends and family have stayed at the Burdette park chalets faithfully as a tradition. We stay there every year for the Frog Follies to bring are cars, families and club members closer together. We recently again rented chalet 4 & 5 this past weekend for the Frog Follies and were deeply disappointed and surprised... More

You can't have too many parks. They should be jewels held in trust for future generations like the Queen's crown or the Hope diamond. They should be a center to gather to and a place to play and remember. This is one of those. It's well kept and has a wide range of things to do with just green to... More

I recently came out to Burdette Park to help someone with a photo shoot. This place is incredible. I did not have the opportunity to personally tour the cabins or shelters, but I could see them once we reached a particular area of the park. We did photos in a few of the scenic areas and there was some water... More

Shelter house 19 was very nice. It had restrooms, air-conditioning, a refrigerator & lots of tables and chairs. It was in a secluded area with a deck & trees surrounding the shelter. Ample parking was available, very nice place.

I visit this park regularly and I do love it. The cabins are really nice, the pool is great, and it's free to go walking through the park. It could use a little updating, but other than that it is a really great place to go and have fun.

Have been here several times. Very large swimming pool with 3 sections. Has several slides. Attentive life guards. Concessions are fair; limited choices. Very reasonable admission. Park also has miniature golf. Limited shaded seating, so get there early.

This is a nice park. We visited on our mini vacation to play mini golf. You have to cross a train track that is very busy with slow moving trains. Waited a good 10-15 min. on a train going by before we could get there. Good course that is somewhat difficult. Beautifully landscaped but a bit overgrown. Some trimming is... More

Went for a tour of the park. Was impressed about the facilities for events both large and small. A great place for celebrating many different events such as weddings and Birthdays

many in the area come to burdette park in the summer to swim. play putt putt. do some fishing. camping. play tennis. or company picnicks. but this is also a beautiful place in the fall to take walks as the leaves are falling. I wish they would bring back the old skating rink that many of us grew up going... More

I fell off of my tube on the waterslide. The lifeguard didn't ask if i was ok. I feel sad because the lifeguard didn't care about my feelings.
