Decided to visit Wellfield Gardens since we had not been there in a couple of years. They have added a new children's garden area with things for the children to do

Wow! Doesn't describe the beauty of this garden. What makes it unique is the fact that 13 years ago it was a swampy marsh of neglected municipal property. Thanks to the foresight and determination of the local Rotary and city, people from around the world...More

It sits nearly downtown, in an older industrial neighborhood. Yet it's scenic beauty is beyond compare. NYC, Paris, London - this park would be welcome in any of the world's great metropolises. To discover such a gem in a smaller Midwestern town makes it just...More

Nice place to walk and look at landscaping. I prefer to go when it is no cost to the public. This used to be a free park.More

It has been lovely every time I visited. It is even more attractive in that it serves as natural protection for the wells of Elkhart. A great example of integrated infrastructure.

..and a great private/public partnership between the City of Elkhart and Wellfield Botanic Gardens, a private, 501(c)3 organization. Did you know that approximately 70% of Elkhart's water comes from the aquifer under Wellfield?

The garden was good, nice walk through the garden. I wish they named more of the flowers, I wanted to add them to my garden. If you are in Elkhart stop by about an hour and a half walkMore

The community of Elkhart has taken pride in upgrading this lovely garden. It is abondant with flowers, trees, sculpture, and great flowing water. Families were strolling and enjoying picnic lunches...even with some rain-swollen creeks and some construction going on, it was a delightful and peaceful...More

Very enjoyable and interesting gardens to visit, well laid out and an easy level walk around the small lake to view the different areas. Many places to sit and enjoy or rest.
