A Walk Down Memory Lane

This is an interesting venue if you like camping. RVs from the 1920s through 2016 are on display in creative park settings. We were able to go inside many of the vehicles.

We enjoyed our visit. We have camped with a travel trailer for 7 years. It was great to see how the RV industry has transitioned over time. The kids were kept interested because they could walk through many of the old campers. I liked that these were mostly un restored models and really made you feel like you could use... More

If you like to RV and you like history, make this a stop on your way through Elkhart. The displays are well thought through with diorama/museum type set ups for many different era's of RV's and MH. The entire walk through lasts about an hour and it is very interesting and fun to see. I would recommend it to anyone... More

I was there with a group for business reasons but while there took a tour of the museum section. It is a great museum showing the historical life of recreational vehicle's. They even have one of the first fold out models and some famous ones from the movie industry. They also have a nice event center in the front of... More

What a great place to see the evolution of the RV industry. Lots of unique pieces! So easy to access off the Indiana Toll Road. Nice gift area also.

Really a nice collection of RV's and campers that highlight innovations through the century. Well displayed and decorated units.

It was very interesting to see that clever and compact design has always been a driving goal. I was amazed by the 1960 "Telescoping Apartment" aftermarket addition for the Model T Ford. Not to mention the 1937 Hunt Housecar.

For RV users this is a great place to visit. Sixty five trailers and motor homes from 1913 to 1985. A good majority you can go into. With a rambunctious 10 year old, it took us 75 minutes to cover.
