At Turtle Run Winery, our motto is to "Produce exceptional quality wine that goes with food and friends." With over 30 wines available for free tastings, it's easy to find a wine you like. And, if you like sweet wines, we have a twist for you -- no sugar added, the international standard for making wine! Sweetness naturally from the grapes provides a clean, refreshing, fruit forward taste that's easy to enjoy. For dry wine folks, we've got you covered too! Through intricate barrel aging and blending, we are bringing back to your taste buds traditional styles of excellence from days gone by, including non-vintage wines!International award winning wine, incredibly detailed winery tours, a friendly staff interested in finding wines you like, picnic areas and wine appreciation classes and first class concerts on Sundays provide a lot of enjoyment and knowledge to you. Find out why Jim Pfeiffer, owner, winemaker, and professor of wine, figured out in the 1980's that Southern Indiana was the place to be to grow wonderful grapes to make exceptional quality wine that goes with food and friends!

I love this beautiful winery. The people are very sweet and they truly know their wines, and the owners mother is a true sweetheart and very helpful. If you are ever in the Fort Knox area, it's truly worth the drive for some wonderful wine...with no sugar added.

Love this winery! It's simple and not a petting zoo or any of that road side type attraction. Staff are the best, very warm and professional. Weekend concerts are a great time to come prepared, lawn chair, cheese and crackers or snacks. Have been several times and each time has been well worth it.

Relax with a bottle of wine and enjoy the free summer concerts. Bring a chair and perhaps some cheese and fruit and purchase a bottle of wine and you have an inexpensive day of entertainment. The town of Corydon is only 8 miles away which houses the first Indiana state Capitol building and the site of John Hunt Morgan's Civil... More

Been awhile since I've been here. The scenery here is pretty nice and the wines are pretty good. Not a large winery, and it was unusual that the wine sampling was in the back. My favorite of the bunch was the Crossed My Mind, a sweet and tasty wine. Well worth getting off Interstate 64 to visit.

Visited here with some friends and really enjoyed ourselves. The winery is a little quaint and off the beaten path, but definitely worth the drive. Laura was super nice and answered every possible question we could have had. There were probably 30 wines to taste from. They are very unique wines I might add! I even bought a few bottles... More

Turtle Run is a unique winery, it's the first winery I've been to that states that they do not add any sugar to any of their wines, only leaving sweetness in their wines by stopping the fermentation process in order to do so. Their list is large in my opinion and they have plenty of dry wines along with sweet... More

Thanks, Apryl D for you nice note on Trip Advisor!! Cool!!! Our no-sugar added way of making sweet wines comes from my studies on European winemaking, in which they are not allowed to back-add sugar into their wines. It was very much emphasized to me in college that not adding sugar was the appropriate and professional way to make sweet... More

This was our second visit to this winery, and both times we really enjoyed our experience here! They have a large selection of excellent wines! We were able to try every wine on their two page list, and the lady who gave us our tasting was great! Even though they were having a concert and were slammed the second time... More

By far the smallest winery we've ever been to. After seeing a few highway signs we decided to stop on the way home with nice weather and some time to kill. It was about 10 minutes off the highway in some farm country. Definitely not a fancy winery like I've seen before however for being so small they sure had... More
