We purchased the cave tour and bat chaser package. Both were fun! The cave tour started out as a walking tour then you get an underground boat ride through the cave! The tour is an out and back, so if you missed something one way, you get a second chance. The Bat-Chaser was fun but very short. After we finished, we took a short walk on the trails, it was nice that they had some of the trees marked as to what kind they were, and the trails are wide. It was a good experience; we would consider going back with the grandkids.

We really had a wonderful time at the Indiana Caverns. When first arriving, the gift show was large, which was concerning. Was this just another tourist trap? Also, there were a lot of religious overtones. But the caverns were the real deal. Our guide was new, but quite informative. The underground formations were clean and well preserved. And finally, the boat ride was unique. As a final note, when your guide suggests that you duck, duck. The passageways can get tight.

Everything about this cave was fantastic! But if I have to choose one I really enjoyed floating on the underground river.

Cool way to spend a hot day! Made it to the caverns for the last tour of the day. Spend an enjoyable and well-guided 2-ish hour tour below ground and on an underground pontoon boat. Gift shop even stayed open for us even though they’d said they’d be closed by the end of our tour which was nice causes they had some need trinkets to buy. Enjoyed the tour!

The cavern tour took about 1 1/2 hours, including a boat ride. They did quite a bit of walking in addition to the boat ride. I’ve been in more beautiful caverns but this one was fine. I’d recommend the tour for families with older children. There were quite a few additional activities available on site that would have been fun for kids. Maybe age 7+.
