I can only imagine what it is like to experience a church service like one you would experience here. It is a theater in the round type of sanctuary where you would be staring across at your fellow members and watching their every move. The architect even designed the parking lot with hedges that funnel the members to a central... More

Visited the building and was amazed by the exterior and interior architecture. I walked all around the site viewing the building from many angles. Sitting inside the sanctuary was an amazing experience, absorbing the design and wonder that is the North Christian Church.

Toured through the church. Different style from any thing else I have seen. Seemed very functional while maintaining its originality. Would attend service if I lived there.

Beautiful church that embodies the new views of religion and worship. In it's own way it is as inspiring as the best of European cathedrals. It is a national treasure and a true work of art. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and added tons to our enjoyment and understanding.

This is a very special church in the design of the building and its surroundings. They were designed as one. You really need a guide to take you through all the nuances e.g. why there are numerous small parking areas separated by evergreens. A really beautiful place of worship.

It is worth every penny to visit this famous architectural landmark. Completed in 1964, it certainly is a work of art, inside and out. It is a part of the Columbus Architectural Tour but can be viewed without the tour. It has a small congregation (50 members in 2016). It would be interesting to go to a Sunday service. Wish... More

My husband and I took the architecture tour in Columbus. We were shocked at what we saw (all good!) and the famous architects who have left their mark with impressive architecture scattered throughout the town. North Christian Church was my favorite. Contemporary yet soulful. It has left a lasting impression with me that I cannot forget.

While primarily a house of worship and gathering place for church members, North Christian Church inspires even the non-religious. The spire carries your eye upwards and the stone and steel construction provides a feeling of security as well as a serene place to contemplate the majesty of God and the creative skills of mankind.

Beautiful church with interesting design. The spire is very tall and there is an oculus at the base to let light into the sanctuary. A unique design seats the congregation semi-circularly around the center of the sanctuary. A moveable alter in the center is also a unique feature. Worth seeing, but if you can only see one church in Columbus,... More
