We saw the outside two or three times while in Columbus and the inside once. Simple interior reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright. Nice light. Setting with IM Pei library across the street and Henry Moore Sculpture is amazing.

This church designed by Eliel Saarinen in 1942 was Columbus's first building built by the Millers. Across from the Visitor Center, it can usually be seen on the architectural tour, or is open to the public most of the day. Even though it was built...More

This is our home church. We love it. Two services available. Traditional at nine, and a much more upbeat style at 1030. Nursery is provided. Everyone welcome.

Loved visiting it as part of the Visitor Center architecture tour. Not to be missed from the outside but go inside if you can and be inspired.

You can see the clock tower from a good distance. This is one of many architectural places of interest in this town.

This church is almost next door to the Visitor's Center. The church is open weekdays, and it is free to go in to look around and take photos. This is the 1942 building by Eliel Saarinen that started the whole mid-century architecture movement in Columbus.

This is probably the most beautiful building in Columbus. There’s newer and bigger buildings, and others can easily become someone’s favorite in Columbus, but few if any beat 1st Christian Church when it comes to aesthetics.

If you're interested in architecture, consider taking a Columbus Visitor Center tour - the tour often includes First Christian Church! This church was designed by Eliel Saarinen in 1942, and it's Columbus's first example of modern architecture! It is beautiful (although I prefer the church...More
