The tour of The Inn at Irwin Gardens was excellent. The B & B Innkeeper LarryKay gave an absolutely fabulous tour and talk on the Irwin Mansion and Gardens. We were privileged to stay in the Irwin's Bedroom and the experience was truly one of a kind. The breakfast was amazing and served with the professionalism of a high end restaurant. I did not get to go on the Miller House tour with my wife. There was only one ticket left, and that went to my wife. However, the visitor's center ticket taker would not bend the rules and add me to the tour. Thus, only 4 of 5 Stars.…

Thank you for your review. It is always a treat to get to experience Columbus from all viewpoints. The Inn at Irwin Gardens is a great place to stay and offers a unique view of Columbus. The Miller House and Garden tour is the most popular tour we have. In compliance with Newfields and the latest guidelines issued by federal, state, and local officials related to COVID-19, we are we are required to limit tour capacity. We hope you come back when we can offer tours at full capacity.

I highly recommend this 2 hour bus tour of the architectural highlights in Columbus. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable (as was our bus driver). The tour includes inside visits of 2 churches with a driving tour of the downtown area. Great gift shop at the visitors center.

This tour starts with a short video and then a walking tour of the library and First Christian Church. The little bus (a van, really) met us upon departing the church, and we rode a carefully-planned route for the next hour and a half. Our docent was deeply schooled in both the architecture and the town, and their respective histories. In addition to appreciating the design talent, there are remarkable stories of community involvement & business leadership. Towards the end of the tour we debarked again for another church visit. If you're a serious architecture buff, this tour will help you prioritize your additional visits, as we mostly viewed the outsides of the notable buildings. All in all, a very fine investment of two hours! (I should commend our careful and friendly driver, who has won national honors in tour-bus driving -- who knew? -- a definite contributor to a fine day!)…
