Very nice lake with incredible panorama. A path allows to walk along for a good portion while looking at fishermen, ducks and wild nature. Also playgrounds for kids are present. From here, day trips to the surroundings can be easily planned.

It just look like a postcard picture! Means it's really great. The good news is no much people coming here, only some locals. Most of the international tourists choose to come to the bigger and more famous lake near by; lake garda. The bad news is you need to have a car to enjoy the most of it. Since there is no much tourist, the only public transportation to come and get out of here is by bus via Bergamo. And without trying to offend anyone, only God and the bus driver who knows when the bus will come. Sometimes I waited 10 minutes, the other time I spend almost an hour waiting for the bus.

We were staying in the area with friends and happened to find Lake di Endine by accident. By looking at the map. We visited the lake on a Sunday and were surprised at how pleasant it was. No toursists, but only local people. Lots of families just chilling and eating. That just gave it a really pleasant atmosphere. The lake is maybe not so much for swimming, but it is really a nice place to find a bit more 'peace and quiet'. Nice change from the other (too) touristy lakes.

The cycle/pedestrian path around the lake is for pedestrians only....access prohibited everywhere. To go around the lake there is a busy asphalt road... which in some places is also dangerous due to the speed of cars and motorbikes.
I don't understand why it's advertised and then you can't access it
Disappointed

Relatively small lake (15km if you walk around it) that has little to offer. Water clear in most places but mostly surrounded by reeds and filled with weed/algae. Few nice places to swim, few (good) catering facilities and huge number of mosquitoes. Not comparable to larger lakes such as Garda and Iseo. Not recommended for a holiday.

We visited Lake Endine and were truly enchanted by the beautiful views on this little lake. The lake is very quiet and peaceful and there was only a handful of visitors on the shore and lake itself. We had a cold beer at one of the quiet lake side restaurants then headed onto the lake in a pedalo (€8 per hour) no motorboats are allowed on the lake which made it even more peaceful. We ate a picnic on the pedalo then went for a swim in the warm waters of the lake. This place is wonderful and I do wonder whether it is a forgotten gem amongst the other more well know lakes of Italy. I would highly recommend a visit.

Very nice lake, quiet and clean. Great for an escape from the city. Around mountains. A pleasant surprise. We had never been there.
