Wonderful farmers market with great assortment of vegetables, fruits in season, plants, and flowers. The ready to eat food offerings are excellent. It's a great way to meet up with old friends. There's always entertainment and street performers. Once a month there's a handmade market that is on site. It's a true gem for our small town!

We have two markets each week in the summer.. one on Wednesday at Bloomingfoods East. And the larger downtown gathering on Saturday mornings.. the season is about over..

I make a trip to the market a few times per month. It's best to get there a few minutes after opening for the best produce and less people shopping. It's also best to go early before it gets hot during the summer. Parking can be a challenge sometimes.

The Bloomington Farmers Market is one of my favorite parts of Bloomington. During the summer, it's held outside and has about maybe 50 or 60 stands selling traditional farmers market produce, and another 10-15 selling food items for immediate eating. There is huge variety, with several vendors regularly selling plants or herbs, while others have fresh fruit (amazing peaches in... More

Festive, colorful, and oh so tasty fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, and handmade foods ready to eat. Many organically grown. The best place in Bloomington to get some good food, listen to local music, and run into friends. It's a big party every Saturday form spring through fall.

A Saturday morning staple for the Bloomington community. The Farmer's Market in Bloomington is an outdoor market featuring wonderful local produce, some prepared foods for the hungry shopper and even a vendor who sells cuts of meat for the carnivores out there. You can also find fresh cut flowers and plants, local honey, baked goods and gourmet coffee. You can... More

After spending the past 21 years in Bloomington (my whole life), I can honestly say that this will never not be a favorite Saturday activity. There are 2 smaller markets also that happen on Tuesday and Wednesday at different locations. There is always a wide selection of fresh, local produce, flowers, honey, prepared foods for purchase from local restaurants, etc.... More

This famers market doesn't have the greatest range of produce but it's great shopping and people watching, and you will go home with the ingredients for a terrific meal. Some ready made food is also available. Do be sure to stop by the local NONPROFIT organization tables too! NOTE: just because the Amish booths look wholesome does not mean they... More

I make it a point to go to this Farmer's Market Saturday mornings every time I'm in Bloomington. There is the largest array of veggie, fruit, meat, cheese, plants, & farm products/goods stands all in one place I've seen in IN. As well, there is a big area dedicated to ready to fresh, eat food from local vendors. Get gourmet... More

My friends and I got stuck in Bloomington unexpectedly due to a fault alternator. When looking up things to do in the are, we discovered the Saturday public market. Great pastries, coffee, smoothies, lavender and a handsome parrot! There were live music, fresh produce and families everywhere ;) Hoping I get stuck here on a Saturday on my way back... More
