What can I say? Amazing reality on Aore Island, even if they were "close" for renovation they organized everything they can to make me feel confortable and at home. The plantation is wonderful and Klaas and Vny are really great and I would never be able to thank them enough for their ospitality (Stuck overseas for Covis emergency) Highly reccomended.

I had the chance to go to Freshwater Plantation 2 times, what a magical place! It’s the perfect place if you want to relax and have a delicious homemade meal... It’s actually my favorite restaurant in the area! The staff is lovely, the garden is so peaceful and relaxing, the food is excellent (make sure to try their chocolate brownie!), in one word... Don’t miss this place if you are in Luganville! :)

On a recent trip to freshwater plantation island, it seemed as though we were the only people on this tranquil paradise. We were warmly welcomed and staff we quick to help in any ways possible. Whilst here we undertook an island tour which was beautiful for the most part. The exception to this would be that bat cave. We weren't informed (nor put 2 and 2 together) that it would be covered in bat poo everywhere which was also teeming with cockroaches. A member of our group had embarked on the tour barefoot and endured through this but found it unpleasant to say the least. Otherwise the island is beautiful, has some of the best food (at a reasonable price) we found while in Santo!

The bat cave is a living environment of an endangered species of microbat indigenous to Vanuatu. The bats help keep our environment free of mosquitoes. We keep the cave as clean as possible without disturbing their habitat. We do recommend sensible sturdy footwear and our tour. Thank you for your kind words about our little piece of paradise and I will pass your compliments on to our chefs who take great pride in distinguishing Freshwater for its cuisine.

A remoted island with staff and Host really welcoming. The place, the sea, the garden, the room and the restaurant are charming. We did the bat cave tour, it was excelent. The guide teached us lots of things about the WW2, medicinal plants ans we had the chance to taste many nusts and endemic fruits. Cherry on the cake the restaurant was so good, authentic, local food but also gastronomic. We highly recommend this place so lovely, romantic and authentic. Thanks Host and staff. Paolo and Sabrina
